Isolated liquid-cooled simple unit DC DC converters are able to:

  • Operate between 18V and 36V or 36V and 56V in low voltage
  • Operate between 200V and 800V in high voltage
  • Generate up to 12kW output power per power conversion module 
  • Integrate to both stationary and embedded applications
  • Transfer power in buck mode (HV to LV)
  • Integrate several control modes in input or in output: current, voltage and power
  • Combine several DC DC converters to increase the total output power
  • 3000V galvanic isolation between high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) ranges

Power

Tame-power isolated liquid-cooled simple unit DC DC converters allow to transfer up to 12kW per power conversion module. The optimal distributed power level depends on system parameters and on voltage input and output ranges. Tame-Power proposes an individual support to ensure the perfect match between Tame-Power products, your specific needs and applications. 

Voltage

Tame-Power isolated liquid-cooled simple unit DC DC converters are intended to operate on: 

  • Low voltage operation range (LV): from 18V to 36V or from 36V to 58V
  • High voltage operation range (HV): from 30V to 900V

Tame-Power products easily integrate embedded applications while transfering several kW to specific low voltage ranges: 24V and 48V (automotive market) or 28V (aeronautics)

Cooling

Tame-Power isolated liquid-cooled simple unit DC DC converters use liquid cooling:

  • Liquid coolant: 50% glycoled water
  • Flow rate: minimum: 3 L/min., typ. : 5 L/min., maximum : 7 L/min.
  • Pressure: maximum: 2 bar
  • Inlet liquid temperature: minimum : -30°C, maximum : +65°C.

Regulation modes

This Tame-Power product line will only work in buck. 

Tame-Power DC DC converters are easy to execute and are managed by CAN messaging. Tame-Power products integrate several control modes, in input or output:

  • Current,
  • Voltage,
  • Power.

Tame-Power DC DC converters beneficiate from an embedded intelligence allowing to optimize the output power on each operating point.

DC DC converters racks

Tame-Power DC DC converters are assemblable to increase the total output power. Hence, Tame-Power proposes to associate up to 10 power conversion modules per system, allowing to reach output power in order of megawatts. 

Isolation

The Tame-Power range of isolated DC-DC converters ensures the separation of the low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) sides thanks to a galvanic isolation allowing the separation of the voltage ranges.
