Principle
Tame-Power DC DC converters allow electrical power to be transferred from one voltage to another with optimum efficiency. DC DC converters couple different power sources in hybrid architectures, fuel cells, batteries, supercapacitors, rectifiers, powertrains, resistors etc. Tame-Power products integrate all operating modes for optimal performance across its entire range of use.
Applications
Tame-Power products are designed for stationary or on-board applications in the electric mobility market. The DC DC converters can be integrated into electric cars, hybrid vehicles, buses, trucks, trains, other electric devices and vehicles, chargers and fixed or mobile recharging stations.
Features
The E-Mobility line of DC DC converters can transfer power from 1kW to 350kW. Tame-Power products can be combined or used in parallel to increase the total power transferred. The DC DC converters have two transfer directions (buck and boost) and offer several control modes. The line of isolated DC DC converters is also able to produce several kW for voltages of 12V, 24V or 48V for on-board accessories.
Ease of use
Tame-Power DC-DC converters are easy to implement and are controlled via a simple CAN messaging system. Tame-Power products integrate various control modes (input or output current, voltage and power) and have an embedded intelligence that optimises the power transferred for each operating point.
