Motivated by the growing demand for electrification in military vehicles and the increasing number of electric consumers, the defense industry is moving towards ever more electric vehicles. This interest is further justified by the need for acoustic and thermal stealth vehicles but also by the need to optimize energy sources and their management.
By combining the technological bricks in power conversion developed for several years and its skills in developing critical systems, TRONICO proposes to study solutions that meet both the needs of innovation and security. Some exempted standards: MIL-STD-810 (Environmental Engineering and Laboratory Tests) GAM-EG-13 (General testing of equipment, Climatic, Mechanical, Electrical) MIL-HDBK-217F notice 2 and FIDES (reliability prediction) The challenges associated with power electronics design for aeronautics and defense are power density, efficiency and thermal stress management.
Thanks to its innovation unit, the Tame-Component technology laboratory and the partnership with G2ELab, TAME-POWER and TRONICO are working on solutions to meet these constraints.
